Blimey, that must mean August is already behind us and I’m rather late with our monthly newsletter.

I’m sure nobody will notice. I might just keep that quiet next time and just call it a newsletter!

August was another busy month at Live Productions, and not only because of the events. We’ve seen progress and a few good success stories across the business, which has been great to see.

I’m always thinking about how we can make this newsletter genuinely useful, so if there’s something you’d like us to cover, I’d love to hear it.

In the meantime, if you want to grab something useful and move on with your day, I recently wrote an article about the different ways LED posters can be used at events.

They’ve become increasingly popular recently, and they’re far more versatile than you might think.

Around the country

August brought another full event schedule, with our teams delivering events on the Gold Coast, in Canberra and across Sydney.

The standout was FF26 at the Hyatt Regency Sydney, where we installed 30 metres of projection screen across the Grand Ballroom and rolled out the iconic green carpet that has become synonymous with this event.

We love the challenge of delivering this event in a different venue each year. This year was another great success, and one that Michael and the rest of the team can be very proud of.

Our truck got a facelift

We’ve been steadily rolling out our new branding across the equipment in the warehouse, and this month the truck received the same treatment.

You should certainly see us coming now, so give us a wave if you spot us on the road!

Strategy, dinner and competitive bowling

We also held our quarterly team strategy day, followed by a great dinner and a highly competitive session at the bowling alley.

These days give us a rare opportunity to step back from the events, look at where the business is heading and agree on what we want to accomplish next.

Now we need to tick off the targets we’ve just set before the next one rolls around.

Oh and some new photos happened as well!

That’s enough from me for this month!

As ever, we’d love to hear from you for any reason at all. You can reply directly to this newsletter if you like and it should land in my inbox.

I also post regular updates on LinkedIn if you’d like to follow what’s going on between newsletters.

Kind Regards,
Ben Deave
