The year rolls on and here we are in July already! We mostly operate on a calendar year rather than a financial year, so you could argue June was just another month for us. But as we look back on the month that was, it’s clear that it has been anything but just another month!
We have delivered some of the largest, most complex events of the year so far, taken delivery of a brand new truck and made new friends both in Australia and overseas.
We have also reminded ourselves again and again that delivering high quality production for events is all about the people and the preparation, and on that front there are many this month that we owe our thanks to.
When we travel interstate and overseas, we rely on our network and the local teams wherever we go. June saw Live Productions travel to Boston USA, Auckland and The Philippines, along with big jobs across Australia - the ICC Sydney, The Star Gold Coast, and Cairns Convention Centre to name just the big ones!
We would like to thank all the local venue and AV teams that we have worked with in June, we can’t deliver the top notch events we pride ourselves on without your support, and everyone recently has been such a pleasure to work with.
I also have to mention all of our fantastic Freelance and Casual crew who have worked hard, been instrumental in our delivery and represented Live Productions so well. There have been some long hours and challenges to solve, and as always our on site teams have been delivering day in day out.
We also got to spend some quality time with one of the new additions to the gloabal AV Alliance, our New Zealand Partner Streamliner Productions. Ben Deave got the chance to vist them in Wellington shortly after we collaboated with them and Total Event on a huge production for Harcourts at The Star Gold Coast. It’s been great getting to know them!
